Hypnosis, or hypnotherapy, involves using deep relaxation along with guided and suggestive imagery to help create behavioral or emotional changes.  These can include habits such as nail-biting or smoking cessation, making lifestyle changes and increasing healthy choices, or improving sleep and managing insomnia.


I have found hypnosis to be highly effective in reducing anxiety and removing the underlying blocks that inhibit a healthy self-esteem. This type of work can also help with feelings of grief and loss and emotional distress related to family issues or divorce.

It is often used along with traditional counseling or other talk-therapies and is not appropriate for those with active psychosis and a few other behavioral health conditions.  For more information, or to schedule an appointment, click here.

Life Coaching

Life coaching is different from traditional therapy in that it focuses on identifying and achieving a specific goal.  Just as an athletic coach helps to guide and encourage, to maximize natural talent, so does a life coach.  From achieving professional milestones like changing careers or career advancement, to improving academic performance or leadership, coaching can help.

Millennial Coaching

Mocked and labeled "snowflakes", this generation of young adults has seen its share of criticism by the media and older generations.  The implication is that this group of individuals is too fragile and ill-equipped to handle the challenges of living an independent and productive life.  

But I believe this generation is just as intelligent, capable, and resourceful as any of the young adults of generations past.  They do, however, seem to lack some basic life skills.  Skills that relate to distress tolerance (managing anxiety, conflict, or difficult situations) organization, problem-solving, and self-esteem.

Millennial coaching services are designed to help young adults tap into their inner strengths and abilities and apply them to live successfully in our world.  Tailored for each individual, we focus on activities and conversations that teach skills, improve self-esteem and the ability to function confidently and competently when faced with everyday life challenges.
